I have been dying to share this magical shoot! I had been wanting to try my signature 2 hour styled shoot, but on location instead of in a studio setting. My friend Heather had been looking to get updated portraits to use in various platforms online, and I was beyond excited when she reached out about doing her portraits. It has been a while since I did portraits at a museum, this time we selected the VMFA, and while it is a little tricky to avoid having other people on the frame… I am so happy with the results. Heather is beautiful inside out not does she have a great sense of style, but she also one of the most empathic and loving people I know. Heather works at VCU as one of the coordinators for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program, in her spare time she loves traveling and she is very involved with the Highland Support Project.
