This shoot was the product of a collaborative effort between Kay Alexander and myself. Kay is a fellow mama photographer in RVA, and we often dream of partnering on a big project… more on that latter. We learned so much from this shoot, there is so much behind the logistics of conducting a duo-self-portrait. Having no one to direct or style us, we also had to figure out how to pose ourselves which was no small task considering Kay is very tall and I am very petite. We have been sitting on these images for over a month, and I am excited to finally have carved some time to edit some and share with you.
